Oyster Festival Family Fun Day 2015
Despite the awful weather we had a great day at the Paddy Burke's Family Fun Day on the Sunday of the Oyster Festival. We did lose some ducks who took their opportunity to make a break for freedom during the duck race so we wish them well. Many thanks to all the Colga volunteers who helped run the inflatables, soccer skills competitions and judged the fancy dress and colouring comeptition. Thanks to Paddy Burkes too for giving us a great opportunity to promote the club.
World Cup Day 2015
Despite some occasionally inclement weather we had a great day on Saturday the 6th June for the annual World Cup Day. Massive thanks to everyone and anyone who played, managed, refereed, ecouraged and supported on the day. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped get the grounds ready on the day. Now we can take a well earned rest for the summer until the season starts again in August! Oranmore Maree Celebration Sunday
The sun decided to shine on Sunday the 12th of April for the annual parade and tournament signalling the end of the Oranmore Maree tournament. This bi-weekly event gives our cadets teams a great opportunity to be part of a team, play different opponents and learn more about teamwork and sportsmanship. Special mention goes to our Under 9's who received a special award for teamwork from the organising committee. Well done to Alan and Sean and all the players and coaches at all age grades who participated. Thanks again to Oranmore Maree for their ongoing hospitality and organisation.
